tea log
here is where i log the tea i drink yayyy. i quite like trying different teas so i wanted to log them all here because they're good as hell
Tea Tonic - Cramp Control Tea
My current favourite. So tasty, nothing like what I'm usually used to. I was fascinated by the box talking about the cherry chocolate flavour so of course I had to pick it up and investigate. I DO NOT REGRET IT !! Very very tasty, would recommend trying it if possible. Both smells and tastes wonderful <3
Damizle Grapefruit Tea
Of course one of my current favourite teas is one that I can rarely ever have because it's got grapefruit in it. It's like if marmalade was a drink, and it's super warming and fresh with the signature zing of grapefruit. I love this tea so bad, and the jar is super cute, and every day I'm on the hunt to try and find the citron or mandarin flavour so I can have it more often.
Organic India - Tulsi Cinnamon Rose
Stumbled upon this one in Foodland and immediately needed to try it. Such a strong, bold flavour with a smell that lingers in every room. Beautifully rich with a lovely, spicy aftertaste. I usually opt for lighter teas, but as a cinnamon lover I couldn't let this one pass by. Usually I only drink this one when it's really cold because it feels more like a treat than a day-to-day to me.
Tsujiri - Milk Matcha
A Japanese family friend bought a bag of this tea over as a gift to my mother, who ended up passing it on to me since she's not a huge matcha fan. This is the nicest matcha I've ever had. So creamy and fresh. I love to mix it with oat milk and it adds this beautiful silky texture to it. I'm going to be so disappointed when I'm out of it.
Sweet Sakura Tea
One of the prettiest teas I have ever drank. I was really shocked when I opened the packet up and saw the little folded up pickled blossoms because I really didn't know what to expect. Then I poured the water in, put a small plate on top to let it cook, and was amazed to see the unfurled blossoms in the mug!! So gorgeous, but unfortunately I'm not a huge lover of the mouthfeel it leaves you with. The texture reminds me of saline solution, which unfortunately turns me off of it a bit. Maybe I'll have to try and make it a different way, considering I have a few servings left over.
Oak & Earth - Health Potion
I picked this one up at The English Ale last year, and it's become one of my favourites. Unfortunately I'm out of it, so I need to buy some more online! A beautiful, fruity, flowery taste with a bit of a tangy zing. This one has the most gorgeous, vibrant, rich red colour to it so I always love to brew it in my glass teapot while I write :)
Madame Flavour - Green Lychee Rose
Decided to treat myself with an expensive tea for once, and I'm quite happy with the one I chose! I usually avoid Madame Flavour just because of the price (seriously, almost $10 for a box of teabags from Coles is kinda crazy), but when I decided to spoil myself I saw this box and immediately put it in my cart. I love green tea, I love lychee, I love rose. Perfection. Nothing I'll buy often, but still brilliant. Also has a gorgeous box design and a different taste depending on whether it's cold or hot brew.
